Major League Ballpark Tour

There are currently 30 major league ballparks and our goal is to see them all by the time our oldest son graduates from high school in ten years.  We started this journey the first summer after he was born.  Our first game, much to my chagrin, was a Chicago White Sox game.  I am a born and raised die-hard Cubs fan, so we made sure he went to Wrigley Field that summer as well.  We've been back more than a dozen times since then.  He's even taken the ballpark tour and run the bases.  This boy lives and breathes baseball, especially all things Cubs, so this journey will be one we all will cherish.
All of our children's first baseball games have been documented and all but our oldest have been Cubs games (which, if you know our oldest son this will bother him tremendously when he realizes this little fact).  We've been a baseball family from the get-go!  Here are our first Cubs game photos!

-Wrigley Field, 2007 (Multiple times since!)

In 2016, we made our first trip to spring training in Mesa to see our beloved Chicago Cubs.  It was an unbelievable experience and it won't be our last trip!  Our MLB Ballpark tour stop this year will be Coors Stadium in Colorado for a Rockies vs. Cubs game.

To commemorate our visits, we purchase small wooden bats from each stadium and hope to build a cool display case to house them in and track our visits throughout this journey.  Visiting ballparks all over the country will provide our family with the opportunity to visit nearly every state in the United States as well as historical sites, museums, attractions, and the vast natural wonders our country contains.  It is really an amazing adventure for our whole family and one we are all looking forward to.
